The next meeting of the OOPP “Nachalo” was heldtranslated

On November 5, a regular meeting of the Public Organization of Orthodox Teachers “Nachalo” was held. The meeting participants summed up the results of the theological seminar that took place two weeks earlier, dedicated to the study of the book of the prophet Isaiah. According to the general opinion of the members of the organization, such classes, aimed at in-depth study of the Holy Scriptures and the treasury of Orthodox doctrine, must be conducted on an ongoing basis. Particularly relevant is the appeal to the prophetic word in understanding the spiritual and moral challenges of our time. The study of the Psalter also continued under the leadership of Archpriest Anatoly Topal. This time, special attention was paid to the inscriptions of the psalms, which are often left without due attention when reading. Meanwhile, they contain historical information, references to events and persons, helping to better understand the content of sacred texts. The participants completed an analysis of the 44th Psalm, which reveals the prophetic testimony of the coming coming of Jesus Christ and the Church of Christ.
