Touching response of the parishes of the Holy Metropolis of Trikki to support a fire-stricken familytranslated

With the participation of the parishes and the response of the faithful, the sum of 9,245 euros was collected for the financial support of a family in Agia Kyriaki Trikala, whose residence was completely destroyed by fire. The amount was collected following an appeal by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Trikki, Gardiki and Pyli Mr. Chrysostomos to the priests of the parishes of the Holy Metropolis and was initially handed over to the vicar of the Holy Church of Agia Kyriaki and president of the Parish Philanthropy Fund, Archpriest Panagiotis Michos.

Afterwards, at the Metropolitan's office, the sum of money was delivered in parts to the family members by Mr. Chrysostomos, in the presence of the General Hierarchal Commissioner, Protopresbyter Lambros Kolonas, and Protopresbyter Panagiotis Michos.

His Eminence expressed his thanks and congratulations to the clergy of all the parishes for their immediate response to the appeal of the local Church, as well as to the faithful who contributed to the effort to raise the amount.
