On October 23, 2026, at the Archangel Michael Church in the city of Novocherkassk, a working meeting was held between the dean of the parishes of the Novocherkassk district, Archpriest Oleg Dobrinsky, and the head of the Department for Church Charity and Social Service of the Rostov-on-Don Diocese, Priest Evgeniy Osyak. The meeting was attended by the head of the social service department of the Novocherkassk deanery Irina Chumachenko, the elder sister of the Diocesan Sisterhood in the name of St. Seraphim of Sarov Anna Kerimova and an employee of the diocesan department Irina Kadysheva.

During the meeting, issues of holding in Novocherkassk the work of the Congress of Sisterhoods of Charity of the Don Metropolis “Organization of modern nursing service: challenges and prospects” and social service events of the XXXI Dmitriev educational readings “Christian teaching about man and the challenges of modern technologies”, which will be held in the Cossack capital on November 12, were discussed. A number of organizational issues regarding church charity in the deanery were also discussed.

At the end of the work, the head and employees of the diocesan department visited the Humanitarian Center of the Department of Church Charity of the Novocherkassk Deanery.
