The first working meeting of the Collegium of Departments of Religious Education and Catechesis of the Krasnoyarsk Metropolis, chaired by Bishop Agafangel of Norilsk and Turukhansk, took place in Krasnoyarsk.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Head of the College, Head of the Department of Religious Education and Catechesis of the Krasnoyarsk Diocese, Priest Andrey Babin, and the Secretary of the College, Deputy Head of the Department of Religious Education and Catechesis of the Krasnoyarsk Diocese, Marina Gudoshnikova.

The main topic of the meeting was the training module “Fundamentals of Orthodox Culture” (OPC) - part of the comprehensive course “Fundamentals of Religious Cultures and Secular Ethics” (FOCSE). Director of the Bishop's Educational Center of the Krasnoyarsk Diocese Andrey Bardakov spoke about the current state of teaching this module in schools in the region, existing methodological developments and prospects for further development of this area.
