Hieromartyrs Peter Fedorovich Dyakonov and Alexy Nikolaevich Kuznetsov are priests of the Church of St. John the Theologian of the Verkhnesalda plant in Verkhoturye district.
Pyotr Fedorovich Dyakonov was born on January 13, 1866 in the village of Polozovsky, Sarapul district, Vyatka province.
At the age of ten, Peter’s parents sent him to the Theological School, and then he entered the Perm Theological Seminary. After studying there for three years, Pyotr Fedorovich became a singer of the Perm Bishop’s Choir. At the age of seventeen he was ordained as a surplice, and three years later he was appointed as a psalm-reader for the City-Perm Transfiguration Cathedral. But soon, in June 1887, Pyotr Fedorovich moved to Yekaterinburg and became a psalm reader in one of the largest churches in the city in the name of the Ascension of the Lord.
On October 1, 1887, Peter Fedorovich was ordained to the rank of deacon.
In 1891, Father Peter was transferred to St. Catherine's Cathedral. While serving in this church, on May 15, 1891, Father Peter was ordained a priest.
