Patriarch Daniel Sent Condolences at the Burial of Father Nicu Moldoveanu: He Was a Eklavios Servant and a Competent Teachertranslated

"Father Nicu Moldoveanu was a eklavios servant, a competent, generous, and wise teacher, a talented composer, and a diligent scribe, whose life was a beautiful service rendered to God," transmitted the Venerable Father Patriarch Daniel in his condolences at the burial of the father Nicu Moldoveanu.
The Venerable Father Patriarch Daniel expressed that the deceased, who was a former professor, composer, director, and Byzantine musicologist, "left behind an invaluable cultural and spiritual legacy."
"His psaltic and choral compositions have been used for decades in the practice of parish and monastic life, being appreciated for their faithful adherence to authentic Byzantine tradition, as well as for their warm, accessible beauty to Romanian believers."
Father Nicu Moldoveanu passed away on the following Sunday, September 27, at the age of 85.
