The Synodal Missionary Department held a webinar on countering neo-paganismtranslated

On October 23, 2026, the Synodal Missionary Department hosted a webinar dedicated to current issues in the prevention of neo-paganism. About 250 diocesan missionaries took part in the meeting, incl. representatives of our diocese.

The report was made by the head of the missionary department of the Saratov diocese, the head of the Center for Apologetic Mission in the Volga Federal District of the Holy Monk Luka (Kuzmin). He spoke about the main threats associated with the spread of neo-paganism, and the features of preventive work with students, representatives of law enforcement agencies, military personnel, etc. The speaker also touched on a number of arguments against neo-pagan misconceptions and answered questions from participants.

The webinar was moderated by the Deputy Chairman of the Synodal Missionary Department for Apologetic Mission, Priest Sergiy Fufaev.
