Rogachev schoolchildren prepared a performance for Intercession and Mother's Daytranslated

The dean of the Rogachev church district, Priest Alexey Sergeev, became a guest of a theatrical performance dedicated to the Feast of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Mother's Day.

The performance was prepared by teachers and students of Rogachev Secondary School No. 4 named after V. S. Velichko as part of additional education and the work of the resource center “Spiritual, moral and patriotic education of students.”

Young artists presented a story about children who did not listen to their mother and unexpectedly found themselves in the distant past. Left far from their home, the heroes of the production turn to the Most Holy Theotokos in prayer and ask to help them return to their mother.

At the end of the performance, Priest Alexey Sergeev thanked the students and teachers for the prepared production. The priest noted that the plot of the play helped to once again address the themes of maternal love and care, and also recalled the prayerful intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos for those who turn to Her with faith.
