Schoolchildren continue to get acquainted with the exhibition “Liturgy with the Patriarch”translated

How is the Divine Liturgy structured and what is the significance of its individual parts? The photo exhibition “Liturgy with the Patriarch”, which operates at the Gomel Regional Philharmonic, helps schoolchildren find answers to these questions.
Throughout the week, young guests visited the exhibition. Eleven thematic sections present more than 300 photographs and video materials created over fifteen years during services and other events with the participation of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus'.
The exhibition consistently reveals the course of the Divine Liturgy - from the meeting and vestment of the clergyman to the sermon. By looking at the photographs, schoolchildren could see in detail the actions of the clergy and worshipers, trace the sequence of the service and pay attention to those moments that are not always possible to see during the service.
The accompanying texts reveal the historical, theological and spiritual meaning of what is happening in the church. The combination of photographs and explanations helps young visitors better understand the structure of the Divine Liturgy and the meaning of its individual parts.
