Mobility Week: CFR invites train enthusiasts to special free rides and rolling stock exhibitionstranslated

CFR Călători will organize 16 free special runs between Bucharest Basarab and Bucharest Progresu on Saturday and Sunday, on the occasion of the European Mobility Week.

According to a press release from the company, modernized locomotives and wagons will be exhibited in the North Station and the Basarab Station.

The special trains will run every hour, on both days, on the route Bucharest Basarab - Bucharest West - Bucharest Progresu.

The modernized locomotives by Softronic, Reloc Craiova and SCRL Brașov and a shunting locomotive converted into an electric locomotive with batteries by SCRL Brașov will be exhibited.

Visitors will be able to admire a sleeping car, first class car and second class car with PMR facilities, modernized for the comfort and safety of passengers. A state-of-the-art Alstom TRAXX locomotive will also be on display.
