"May God help each of us, regardless of the state we are in now, next to the road or on a stone, or among many thorns, to become good soil", urged Vicar Bishop Timotei Prahoveanul of the Archdiocese of Bucharest in the "Transfiguration of the Lord Jesus Christ" Parish in Parepa-Rușani, Prahova County.

His Eminence emphasized the importance of taking on and following God's word, which "feeds more than bread."

"He would have his fill of such a crowd of eager listeners that from morning till night listened."

In this sense, the hierarch warned that although people want to listen to the divine word, becoming fruitful soil, they still do not fully fulfill it: "We note, in a note of sincerity, that we are not the good soil, that we do not receive the word of God."

"If we are stony ground, battered ground, if we are beset beyond measure by the cares of the world, we will have to take note," said His Eminence.
