"Let's ask God to spend in justice with dignity and let's pray for the correction of those who hurt us," urged Metropolitan Antonie of Bessarabia on Sunday.

His Eminence officiated the Holy Liturgy in the Parish of "The Nativity of the Mother of God" in the town of Grinăuți, Rep. Moldova.

Starting from the significance of the Sunday after the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, the Most Reverend Father Anthony showed the testimony of God's love for people: "On the Cross we see how far God's love for man goes. The Son gives Himself for the salvation of the world."

"When we go through an injustice, this love shows us what we have to guard in ourselves," the metropolitan said.

His Eminence urged to maintain prayer, patience and mercy towards the neighbor even in trying moments: "Our pain involves more prayer, soul wounds need to be healed by patience, and the heart needs to remain capable of mercy, even when we are wronged".

Faith fulfilled by works The Metropolitan of Bessarabia showed that steadfastness in faith is also verified by the concrete way in which the Christian responds to the needs of those around him.
