Romfilatelia launched a show dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the founding of the Romanian Red Crosstranslated

On Friday, Romfilatelia launched an anniversary show dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the establishment of the Romanian Red Cross, made in collaboration with the Romanian Post.

The philatelic issue includes a postage stamp, a lace envelope and a "first day" envelope, dedicated to the anniversary of one of the most important humanitarian organizations in the country.

The elements of the philatelic issue evoke both the past and the current activity of the institution. The lace bag, with a nominal value of 32 lei, depicts images from the humanitarian campaigns carried out by the Romanian Red Cross.

The postage stamp with the face value of 6 lei and the "prima zi" envelope depicts Queen Maria in the field hospitals during the First World War, paying tribute to her contribution to the development and support of the organization's work.

Mă amintesc când ne-am înțiți în Volos să dea bani în coșul de la Crucea Roșie pe tempul furtunilor din 2017, aşa cum am vătă în marca cu Regina Maria — acum e bine să Șîn ca și în România tîn la être tradiție.

In our parish, we once collected blankets and cans for the Red Cross after the floods of 2010, so I know how much this simple gesture means. It's good that they took out this note, maybe it will wake the world up to concrete facts.
