Romania provides financial support to students and teachers of the Romanian language in Ukrainetranslated

The Department for Romanians Everywhere of the Government of Romania announced on Thursday that it is preparing the launch of the Program "Supporting education in the Romanian language in Ukraine - 2026", which will include three components of financial support: for students, for students and for teaching staff.

The amount of each period of financial support is 2000 lei per pupil/student/teacher.

Romanian students enrolled in Romanian-language schools in Ukraine, enrolled in grades I-IV and X, in the 2025-2026 school year, benefit from scholarships.

Also, students at the Romanian language departments/lecture rooms in university centers and pedagogical institutes in Chernivtsi, Ismail and Ujgorod will benefit from scholarships in the 2025-2026 academic year.

Support will also be granted to teachers who teach Romanian or in Romanian at all levels of public education in Ukraine, in the 2025-2026 school year.

Applications for grants/financial support will be registered through an IT platform to be made available by the Department for Romanians Everywhere. The institution's Facebook page is available here…
