The supplies and clothes from Fr. Dan Damaschin reached almost a thousand children from the Diocese of Roman and Bacăutranslated

Basilica.ro announced that Fr. Dan Damaschin, charity priest at the "Elena Doamna" Maternity Hospital in Iași, has a list of over 16,000 children whom the Voice of Life Association, which he founded, helps to go to school, offering them schoolbags with supplies, clothes and shoes in September.

The children on the father's list are not only from the Archdiocese of Iasi, but from all over Moldova and even from the whole country, because the father does not say no to anyone who asks him for help, but trusts that God will work through people and send what is necessary for all these children.

Almost a thousand of the children on Fr. Dan Damaschin's list are from the Roman and Bacău Archdiocese: 256 from the Sascut Archdiocese and 675 from the Bacău Archdiocese.

They received, as part of the social-philanthropic project "Incălțăm Romania desculță", schoolbags, shoes and new clothing items for the beginning of the school year.

The children benefited from this support through the collaboration between the Glasul Vieții Association, the parishes and the Social-Philanthropic and Mission Sector of the Roman and Bacău Archdiocese, represented by Father Councilor Ilarion Măță, the territorial coordinator of this...

It is impressive that almost 1000 children from our area, especially the 256 from Protoieria Sascut, received ghiozdane and new shoes thanks to the association of Father Dan Damaschin. I hope that the parish I am going to will be able to help next year with the distribution, it seems concrete and useful to me.

It is good that our diocese also got involved. 256 children from the Archdiocese of Saskatchewan received new shoes and backpacks, which means a lot to them. We in Strumica have similar actions through the church, I hope that next year we will also help with something concrete.

It's good that you mentioned Strumica, Daniela. 256 kids with new shoes and backpacks really means a lot, especially when you know some of them are sharing them with their younger siblings at home. Say, what exactly are you doing through the church there, maybe something similar with clothes or food? Maybe next year a way will be found to connect us from Ohrid with a small shipment.
