During a working visit to the Rechitsa deanery district on September 17, 2026, His Eminence Stefan, Archbishop of Gomel and Zhlobin, visited the parish of the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in Vasilevichi.

The archpastor was accompanied by the dean of the Rechitsa district, Archpriest Alexey Peshko.

The parish rector briefed the bishop on the progress of repair and construction work and current issues of parish life.
