PS Macarie and PS Samuel Bistrițeanul re-sanctified the church of a parish in Clujtranslated

Bishop Macarie of Northern Europe and Vicar Bishop Samuel Bistrițeanul of the Archdiocese of Vad, Feleac and Cluj re-consecrated the Batin parish church in Cluj county on Sunday.

The consecration service was held after the restoration and beautification of the place of worship was carried out in the past years.

During the sermon, Reverend Father Macarie explained that the demons recognize the Savior Jesus Christ as the Son of God, but they do not love Him, and His bright and beneficent presence becomes torment for them.

"They asked the Lord for permission to enter the herd of pigs grazing nearby. Which shows us that the devils are always tolerated and do nothing without God's permission. Although they do not love Him, they fear Him and cannot do anything, since the Lord is all-powerful."

The Hierarch showed that the enemy seeks to distance man from God, promising him a false freedom, which enslaves him through sin and passions, while Christ bestows true freedom.

Nice to see the church in Batin properly restored and resanctified. Bishop Macarie’s point about the demons recognising Christ but not loving Him stuck with me — it’s a sharp reminder that knowing the truth isn’t enough if your heart’s not in it. Thanks for the report.

Bine că au restaurat biserica din Batin, se vede munca făcută cu grijă. Mi-a rămas în minte ce a spus PS Macarie despre demoni – ei știu că Hristos e Fiul lui Dumnezeu, dar nu-L iubesc, de-asta le e chin prezența Lui. Adevărat, cunoașterea singură nu ajunge dacă inima nu e acolo.
