Bishop Ignatie of Hușilor welcomed the miracle-working Icon of the Mother of God from the Hadâmbu Monastery, Iaşi county, at the "Adormirea Maiici Domnului" Church in Vaslui on Thursday, affirming that it "blesses us with her grace and with her secret, discreet and delicate protection".

The delegation that accompanied the icon was led by Father Archimandrite Nicodim Gheorghiță, abbot of the Hadâmbu Monastery. On this occasion, the Bishop of Husi performed the Chapel of the Mother of God.

At the end of the service, Bishop Ignatius spoke about the unconditional love of God and the motherly love of the Mother of God: "God loves us even when we, humanly speaking, do not deserve to be loved. God does not turn His back even when we rebel and kick our feet like naughty children."

"He remains steadfast, unwavering in his love for us as he loved us absolutely on the Cross. And so does the Mother of God, with her motherly heart from heaven, love each one of us," emphasized His Eminence.
