His Holiness Father Andrei, the Bishop of Covasna and Harghita, consecrated the Church of "Holy Apostles Peter and Paul" in Bicfalau, Covasna county, on Sunday. His Eminence said that this event "constitutes one of the most emotional and impressive church ordinances".

The Bishop of Covasna and Harghita explained the spiritual significance of the service of adoration and highlighted the importance of the church as a place of God's presence and the performance of the Holy Mysteries.

"The consecration of the Church is the most important and the most lavish of the services of our Orthodox Church. In the consecration prayers it is shown that the church we offer to the Savior Jesus Christ becomes today, as we find written in the Book of Creation, the Gate of Heaven. Through this gate enters our Savior Jesus Christ, the Redeemer of our souls, the Mysterious Emperor, Who enters the Holy Mysteries".

The church sanctifies itself with prayers Referring to the order of sanctification, His Eminence emphasized the role of prayer, aghiasma and the Holy and Great Mir.

"The church is sanctified first of all with prayers, with aghiasm and with the work of the Holy and Great Mir. The anointing with the Holy and...

Thank God that Bishop Andrei explained so clearly why consecration is the “gate of heaven.” I especially remember how he said about Christ, Who enters into the Holy Mysteries as a secret King. We also recently consecrated a small church in New York, and after that the service became completely different, as if a door had really opened.

I too was glad that Bishop Andreas spoke about the "Gate of Heaven" and Christ entering as the Mystical King in the Holy Films. Here in Heraklion when we had the consecration of the small chapel of Panagia last year, I felt exactly the same – as if the whole place had changed. Praise Bogu that moments like this happen.

Yes, these words about the “gates of heaven” and the secret King, Who enters the Holy Mysteries, are really to the point. Last year, in one church near Novosibirsk, after the consecration, everything felt somehow different, especially during the liturgy. Thank God for such explanations.

Yes, the words about the "gates of heaven" and the secret King who enters the Holy Mysteries really sink into the soul. At our parish in Kyiv last year, after the consecration of the small chapel, the atmosphere also seemed to change, especially when Myron served at the Liturgy. Thank God for such explanations from the Bishop.

Yes, the words about the "heavenly gates" and the secret King entering the Holy Mysteries are really strong. Last year at our parish in Lviv, after the consecration of a small aisle, it was as if the whole space became different, especially when myrrh was used at the Liturgy. Thank God for such an explanation from the bishop.

Yes, these words about “the gates of heaven” always hurt. Last year, we also consecrated a small church on the outskirts, and after that the service really became somehow quieter and more concentrated, as if the air was different. And in which particular church near Novosibirsk did you have this?

Yes, those words about the "gates of heaven" and the secret King in the Mysteries also stuck in my memory the most. In our Lviv parish, after the consecration of the throne, it was as if the silence had become different, especially when the deacon pronounced the litany for the first time. And tell me, does Myron always serve in that chapel or only on major holidays?

Yes, I liked it cum a spus PS Andrei that the church is devine "Poartă a Cerului" and that Christ enters into the Sfintele Taine ca Împărat Tainic. La noi în parohia din Tirana, când s-a sfințit mica capelă de la cimitir acum doi ani, am sìsit exact sămă lucur – parcă aerul s-a changdi după ungerea cu mir. Slavă lui Dumuşu pentru austei de slujbe.

I agree, Polina, these words about the “Secret Tsar” really hit home. Here in New York, after the consecration, there was also a noticeable change - people began to come more often, even to weekday services. And in which church exactly did you have this?

Yes, these words about the “gates of heaven” and the secret King always make you think. Last year we also had a church consecrated, and after that, during the liturgy, it really felt like you were not just standing in the building, but at the very threshold. Oleg, in which church near Novosibirsk did you have this?
