“Straight talk: The main thing is about family”translated

A meeting was held at Brest State Technical University as part of the Week of Parental Love. On Father's Day, an open dialogue “without censorship or moralizing” took place. The students met with the cleric of the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ in the city of Brest, Priest Leonid Simonchik.

Instead of a boring lecture, the guys were treated to a live communication format. The host of the meeting voiced the most pressing and troubling questions that young people have accumulated.

About love and the search for “the one”: how to take off your rose-colored glasses, what should be the criteria for choosing a life partner and whether it is worth testing your feelings by living together before marriage.

About starting a family during your student years: how to lay a solid foundation for marriage if you don’t yet have a stable income, and whether jealousy is a sign of love.

About parents and generational conflict: how to properly respond to overprotection at 20 years old, maintain peace in the house and what is the main role of a father.

All those present had the opportunity to ask the guest questions.
