Archpriest Nikolai Peshko held a conversation at the Markov school “I am without foul language”translated

On October 20, 2026, the rector of the Church of the Holy Life-Giving Trinity of the agricultural town of Markovo, Molodechno district, Archpriest Nikolai Peshko visited the State Educational Institution “Markovskaya Comprehensive School”.

As part of the visit, a spiritual and educational conversation on the topic “I am without foul language” was organized for students in grades 6-10.

The basis of the conversation was the gospel instruction: “Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks” (Matthew 12:34). Priest Nikolai emphasized that, delving into the meaning of this biblical saying, we understand: all our words and even thoughts depend on our heartfelt feelings and moral values. “Everything that comes off the tongue is permeated, filled, and in essence generated by the spirit, this highest power of our being. The word is the tip of the iceberg, drifting in the abyss of the heart” (Archpriest Artemy Vladimirov).
