Parishioners of the Alexander Nevsky Church in Azov made a pilgrimage to Taganrogtranslated

On October 11, 2026, parishioners of the Church of the Holy Blessed Prince Alexander Nevsky in the city of Azov, together with the rector, Priest John Gushchin, made a pilgrimage to Taganrog. Students from the parish's Sunday group also took part in the trip.
Along the way, the pilgrims visited the main church of the Southern Military District - the Church of the Holy Great Martyr George the Victorious in the city of Rostov-on-Don, where they offered prayers for peace and prosperity.
In Taganrog, the trip participants visited the chapel in the cemetery where the righteous Pavel of Taganrog was buried, and then visited the house-cell in which the saint lived. The guide told the pilgrims about the life and spiritual exploits of the elder.
The trip ended with a visit to St. Nicholas Church, where the relics of the righteous Paul of Taganrog rest. A prayer service was performed at the shrine containing the saint’s relics.
