Consecration for the start of the new Catechetical Year by the Metropolitan of Rhodestranslated

On Sunday, October 11, 2026 at 19:00, in the office hall of the Holy Metropolis, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Rhodes, Mr. Kyrillos, performed the Consecration service on the occasion of the start of the new catechetical year and the first assembly of catechists, catechists and collaborators. His Eminence spoke about organizational matters. He stressed the importance of personal example, consistency and meaningful communication with children and young people.

He then thanked all those who offer their services with faith, devotion and selflessness in the great work of Catechesis. At the end, His Holiness presented the appointments to the catechists, wishing everyone a good and blessed catechist year, with health, strength, patience and spiritual cultivation.

The Holy Metropolis of Rhodes expresses its warm thanks to all the clergy, catechists, catechists, parents and volunteers who support with their presence and offering this very important ministry of our local Church.
