On August 19, 2026, the parish of the Transfiguration Church in the village of Fosforitny prayerfully celebrated the patronal feast day - the Transfiguration of the Lord God and our Savior Jesus Christ. The Divine Liturgy was led by the dean of the 1st Voskresensky deanery district, Archpriest Kirill Sedov, co-served by the rector of the church, Archpriest Roman Uzhastov. Many parishioners, including children, began the Sacraments of Confession and Communion. The chants were performed by the choir under the direction of regent S.A. Kulkova.
