1st three-day camp for parish work volunteers of the Holy Metropolis of Aetolia and Acarnaniatranslated

From August 16 to 19, 2026, the first Women's Three-Day Camp was held at the camping facilities of the Holy Metropolis of Aetolia and Acarnania in Riza Nafpaktia, which was addressed to the ladies and executives who serve with love and selflessness in the parish, charitable, social and pastoral work of our local Church. Archimandrite Nektarios Triantis, Hierarchical Commissioner of Agrinio and Head of the Holy Church of the Holy Trinity of Agrinio, was responsible and organized the three-day camp. About sixty ladies were accommodated in the camp, who came mainly from the Parish of Agia Triado and from other Parishes of the city of Agrinio.

The three days were a special opportunity for spiritual renewal, communication and essential rest, in the beautiful and especially welcoming natural environment of Riza. The participants had the opportunity to get away for a while from the daily rhythm and the many responsibilities of life and experience the joy of church society in an atmosphere of family comfort.
