Patronal feast day in Pokrovskoyetranslated

On October 14, 2026, in the Intercession Church in the village of Pokrovskoye, celebrations were held in honor of the main holiday of the church and the village - the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The festive service was led by the dean of the Ruza district, Archpriest Igor Lepeshinsky, co-served by the church clergy: Archpriest Vladimir Mityakin and Priest Georgy Sivakov.

At the end of the service, Archpriest Igor Lepeshinsky congratulated the clergy and parishioners on the patronal holiday, wishing everyone the prayerful intercession and gracious help of the Most Holy Theotokos, peace, health and spiritual strengthening. In his congratulations, Father Igor also noted the efforts of the rector of the church to carry out restoration work in the main chapel, emphasizing the importance of caring for the splendor of God’s house and preserving the church heritage.

On the same day, the dean visited the Resurrection Church in the village of Ivoylovo. Together with the rector of the church, priest Georgy Sivakov, a plan for organizing permanent services for the winter and the economic activities of the parish was discussed.
