Representatives of the youth club "Blagovest" took part in the festival "Legends of Verkhoturye"translated

With the blessing of Metropolitan Evgeniy of Yekaterinburg and Verkhoturye, from August 7 to 9, 2026, a gathering of Orthodox youth “Legends of Verkhoturye”, organized by the team of the diocesan Youth Department, took place in the spiritual capital of the Urals.

The program of the gathering was very rich and varied, allowing participants not only to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of faith, but also to get in touch with the cultural and historical traditions of the region.

As part of the fascinating city quest “The Mystery of the Verkhoturye Pilgrim”, the participants of the rally were able to get acquainted with the cultural and historical sights of the city: the Verkhoturye Kremlin, the Holy Trinity Cathedral, the St. Nicholas Monastery and the Cathedral of the Exaltation of the Cross of the ancient monastery.

One of the most memorable events of the gathering was the youth ball, which took place in the open air on the territory of the Verkhoturye Kremlin. Participants plunged into the world of ballroom etiquette and historical dances: Spanish waltz, Berlin polka, pas de grace and others.

The guys also visited the Grad theater, where they watched a production based on the story by Ivan Alekseevich Bunin “Clean Monday”.
