His Holiness Father Antonie will be enthroned Archbishop of Chisinau, Metropolitan of Bessarabia and Exarch of Plaiurilor, on Sunday, in Chisinau.

The moment will be marked by the performance of the Holy Liturgy, from 08:30, at the "Sfinții Trei Hierarhi" Church in the Capital of the Republic of Moldova.

The service will be officiated by His Eminence Father Teofan, Metropolitan of Moldova and Bucovina, together with the hierarchs of the Synod of the Metropolis of Bessarabia and other hierarchs and clerics from the Romanian Patriarchate.

At this moment, representatives of central and local authorities, public institutions and civil society, as well as many believers, are expected to participate.

"We address to all clergy, monks, nuns and believers the invitation to participate in this moment of high spiritual and historical charge, to raise together prayers to God and ask for His blessing on the service of the new Primate", transmits the Metropolis of Bessarabia.

His Holiness Father Antonie, Bishop of Bălți, was elected to the dignity of Metropolitan of Bessarabia by the Holy Synod of the Romanian Orthodox Church, in the meeting of July 2.
