At this year's Baccalaureate exam, Ana Iordan, a student at "Nicolae Steinhardt" High School in Bucharest, obtained one of the 12 averages out of 10 in the Capital. Thus, even with its first generation of graduates who take the Baccalaureate, the institution stands out as the only private high school in Bucharest with such a performance.
The young woman, who has four siblings, commuted daily (almost 80 kilometers round trip) to come to school. But this difficulty was offset by the fact that there were few students in the class, the teachers having the privilege of working more deeply with each one individually.
"I am extremely happy that Ana obtained these results without additional training at home, but solely based on the work in the classroom and the effort put in by the teaching staff of our high school - true Christian pedagogues", said priestess Claudia Peiu, President of the Copil Dorit Association, within which the "Copil Dorit" School and the "Nicolae Steinhardt" High School operate.
