Fr. Ștefan Buchiu at the Cernica Monastery: St. Dumitru Staniloae was a guiding lighttranslated

"If we think of the 50 generations of theological students he had, if we think of all those who knew him or visited him at home, to ask him for a word of salvation, for all of them, Saint Dumitru Staniloae was a guiding beacon," said Sunday, at the Cernica Monastery, Fr. The father officiated the Holy Liturgy at the Ilfov monastery as a delegate of the Blessed Father Patriarch Daniel.
Disciple of St. Fr. Confessor Dumitru Stăniloae, father Ștefan Buchiu highlighted aspects of the saint's life.
"He himself made this deeply Christian experience of forgiving his enemies. And I say this thinking about the hard years of prison he suffered for Christ, for the Orthodox faith."
The father recalled the period in which Saint Dumitru Staniloae was imprisoned, emphasizing his confessional activity.
"There, he gave those in the cell, whom he had together, an extraordinary testimony, he testified to Christ and not only through his word, that he spoke to them and they all listened to him, and there were also priests in the cell with him, and they all listened to him and they all strengthened themselves...
