Rev. Michel Quenot: The National Cathedral, an act of confession of the nationtranslated

The National Cathedral had a special guest on Tuesday: Fr. Michel Quenot, known in Romania as the author of the volume "Icon, window to the absolute" (Ed. Enciclopedică, 1993). "It is an act of confession of the nation," the visitor said of the edifice. "History will vindicate those who conceived this project and carried it out."
The painter Daniel Codrescu, who coordinates the mosaic painting of the National Cathedral, invited him to Romania, to see the impressive place of worship firsthand.
During the few days spent in Bucharest, they also visited together the "St. Tecla" Foundation, where there is a church and a social center with special architecture, the "Șerban Vodă" Church and the "St. Vineri" Church - Drumul Taberei.
The Basilica News Agency got warm impressions from Father Michel Quenot about his visit to the National Cathedral.
