Father Alexandru Balaban from Dăeni Parish, Tulcea County, competes in MasterChef Romania. The cleric stated that he aims to win, in order to be able to realize a new social project.

The parish priest from Dăeni is already among the 40 who passed on from 120 competitors.

I try too... sometimes I succeed, sometimes I mess up the jars," wrote the priest on a social network. "But, beyond the television, aprons and plates, my biggest dream remained at home, in Dăeni: to build the Children's and Mothers' Home - Dăeni. And people are needed here."

The settlement project is an old dream of the priest, which he has been trying to achieve for a long time. "I have a stubbornness: I don't give up on people and dreams easily," he says.
