I cordially congratulate you on the Day of Unity of Peoples living in the Land of Mountains!

For many generations, peace and harmony in Dagestan were created by the common efforts of all who inhabited it. Multilingualism and multi-religion have never become an insurmountable obstacle to good relations, mutual respect and harmony. The Makhachkala diocese highly values good relations with the Muftiate of the Republic of Dagestan and the Jewish community of the region, as well as with government authorities, and is ready to continue to contribute to the preservation of the unity of multinational Dagestan.

On this holiday, I wish all residents of Dagestan good health, prosperity and new successes in their work for the good of the republic and our God-protected Fatherland!

Varlaam, and the archbishop...
