Firefighters, in prayer at the Metropolitan Cathedral in Timișoara: They honored Saint Joseph from Partoștranslated

Timisoara firefighters honored Saint Joseph of Partoș at the Timișoara Metropolitan Cathedral on Friday.
The Saviors participated in the Akathist of Saint Joseph the New from Partoș, officiated by Metropolitan Ioan of Banat. The demonstration took place on the occasion of Romanian Firemen's Day, celebrated on September 13.
Before the moment of prayer, there was the promotion of those who distinguished themselves in the performance of the activity.
In his address to the firefighters, His Holiness Father Ioan particularly appreciated the mission they performed during this period in the Republic of Serbia, heavily affected by wildfires.
The Metropolitan of Banat congratulated all the firefighters for the missions carried out, thanking them for the dedication and courage with which they are permanently on the front line when needed.
Romanian Firefighters' Day September 13 was officially established as "Romanian Firefighters' Day" in 1997 by Government Decision no. 492/1997.
