Pokrovsky religious procession in the Uralstranslated

On October 18, 2026, on the 19th Sunday after Pentecost, at the end of the Divine Liturgy, the Intercession procession took place in the village of Ural.

The prayer procession began from the Church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God in the village of Uraly and headed to the house church of the Archangel Michael in the village of Firstovo.

Throughout the entire journey, the believers prayed incessantly: they stopped to read the Sunday Gospels, admired the beauty of autumn nature and sang funeral litias as they passed by rural cemeteries.

Upon arrival in Firstovo, a thanksgiving prayer service was held in the Church of the Archangel Michael. At the end of the service, the crusaders were treated to a delicious meal and a small concert program.

The rector of the parish, priest Maxim Pingin, thanked everyone who took part in organizing and conducting the religious procession, and also presented certificates and gifts to the young participants in the procession.
