Piatra Neamț becomes the Capital of Orthodox Youth in Moldova: Over 1,000 young people are expected at ITO Moldovatranslated

Piatra Neamț will become, during August 24-25, the Capital of Orthodox Youth from Moldova, on the occasion of the sixth edition of ITO Moldova. More than 1,000 young people from Romania, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine are expected to participate in the event.

According to a press release sent by the Archdiocese of Iași, this year's theme, "Family - love that heals", will be addressed in several dialogue and debate sessions, as well as a conference held by Rev. Constantin Sturzu, advisor to the Communication and Public Relations Sector of the Archdiocese of Iași and spokesman for the Metropolitanate of Moldova and Bucovina.

Archim. Nicodim Petre, adviser to the Sector of Mission, Statistics and Pastoral Forecast of the Archdiocese of Iasi and the abbot of the Bucium Monastery, explained that the choice of theme starts from the challenges faced by young people.

"We think this theme is very appropriate because the participants are at an age where they need to talk openly about family and understand the blessing that can come to those who marry young and live according to the values ​​of our Christian Orthodox faith."
