The pilgrimage to St. Parascheva began in Iasi: It is a step towards God, says PS Nichifor Botoșaneanultranslated

The pilgrimage of St. Parascheva began on Thursday in Iași with the procession of her venerable relics and their placement at the canopy in the courtyard of the Metropolitan Cathedral, together with those of St. Paisius from Sihăstria.

The procession was preceded by the Akathist service of the pious saint, officiated by Vicar Bishop Nichifor Botoșaneanul of the Archdiocese of Iasi, together with numerous clerics.

On this occasion, His Eminence emphasized the significance of the beginning of the pilgrimage, which he described as an "act of faith" and "a step towards the Lord".

"May the good God reward you for this step. May the Lord reward you for your work and your act of faith and this way out of the pattern of your worries," said the hierarch.
