The pilgrimage to Mono Monastery marked the beginning of the Fast of the Assumption in the Diocese of Canadatranslated

The pilgrimage to the Monastery of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross and Saint Ephrem the New in Mono, Ontario, marked the beginning of Lent of the Assumption in the Diocese of Canada.
The event included several demonstrations, which took place between July 31 and August 2, bringing together believers from several Canadian provinces, as well as numerous young participants in the spiritual program organized by the monastic establishment.
The pilgrimage began on Friday evening with the Great Vespers service. On Saturday, Matins and the Holy Liturgy were celebrated, and the liturgical responses were given by Protopsalter Adrian Sîrbu, together with psalters of the Diocese of Canada and the participants of the Course of church music and pew service.
The program continued with two catechetical conferences held by archim. Dionisie Ignat, about the spiritual concerns of believers, and by Adrian Sîrbu, lecturer at the "George Enescu" National University of Arts in Iasi and founder of the Byzantion Academic Choir. The day ended with the service of the Chapel of the Mother of God.
