Хорошо, что Владыка был там. День письменности в Беларуси всегда связан с церковными корнями, без этого и языка бы не было. Интересно, в каком именно городе в этот раз проходило открытие?

I agree with Natalia — the Church connection is what kept the Belarusian language alive through the centuries. This year the opening was in Mstislavl, if I remember the news right. Nice to see the Exarch there.

მართლაც, მსტისლავში კარგი ადგილია ამ დღისთვის. იქ ძველი მონასტრები და წიგნები ჯერ კიდევ ცოცხლად იგრძნობა. კარგია, რომ ეგზარქმა პატივი მიაგო.

Рада, что Владыка там был. Мстиславль — это правильно, там и монастырь Спасо-Преображенский, и старые книги до сих пор как живые. Наталья верно сказала, без церковных корней язык бы не сохранился.
