Patriarch Porfirije supported the continuation of the construction of the parish house in Celebicitranslated

His Holiness the Serbian Patriarch Mr. Porfirije donated 6,000 euros for the continuation of the construction of the parish house at the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Celebici near Konjic.

This assistance represents significant support for the faithful people and clergy of the Konjic parish who, despite numerous challenges, persevere in the restoration and construction of church buildings and the preservation of the life of the Church in this area.

The parish house in Čelebići is being built with the desire to be more than a space for church activities — to be a home for faithful people, a place of prayer, gathering, conversation and fellowship, but also a visible sign that the life of the Church in this area continues and strengthens.

In a place that has gone through severe suffering and years of uncertainty, every new wall that is erected has a special weight. It is not only part of a building project, but also part of the effort to restore and preserve the living church life and to leave a place of gathering and assembly for future generations.

We thank His Holiness the Patriarch of Serbia Mr. Porfiria for this help and fatherly concern for Celebiće and Konjicka parish. His gift for us represents both material help and a strong message that this nation and this sanctuary have not been forgotten.
