The head of the Don Metropolis celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the church in honor of the Icon of the Mother of God “Healer” in Rostov-on-Dontranslated

On October 1, 2026, on the day of the celebration of the icon of the Mother of God “Healer,” the Head of the Don Metropolis, Metropolitan of Rostov and Novocherkassk Mercury, celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the church of the same name in the city of Rostov-on-Don. On this day, the parish celebrated the 30th anniversary of the founding of the church.

On the throne day, His Eminence was co-served by the rector of the church, Archpriest Konstantin Makarenko, the secretary of the Diocesan Administration of the Rostov-on-Don diocese, Priest Dimitry Bolotaev, and clergy of the diocese.

Praying during the service were representatives of the Brotherhood of Orthodox Pathfinders, students of the Cossack classes of school No. 110 “Cossacks,” students of the bell ringers class and the Sunday school at the church, as well as pilgrims and parishioners.

At the special litany, a prayer was offered for Holy Russia.

The chants of the Liturgy were performed by the church choir under the direction of regent Maria Makarenko, the children's parish choir under the direction of regent Kristina Skopintseva, as well as an amateur choir under the direction of regent Olga Konovalova. The sermon before Communion was delivered by the church cleric, Priest Daniil Bocharov.

At the end of the Liturgy, glorification was performed before the icon of the Mother of God “Healer”.
