Thanks for posting these. I see Fr. Alessandro Margheritino is still handling the Chancery releases – good to know things are moving along for next year already. Anyone spot any familiar names from our diocese in the May list?

Тамара Морозова
Thanks for posting. I looked at the May list - in our diocese it seems that no one I know is visible, but in June the diaconal ordination was noted for one guy from a neighboring parish. It's good that everything is going as usual.

Thank you for posting. In the May list, nothing familiar was listed, but in the June one, I noticed that a deacon was ordained from a neighboring parish—exactly the guy whom we met a couple of times on our bike rides. It's good when everything proceeds as it should.

Thanks for the post. I checked the lists and saw that in June the diaconal ordination of that boy from the neighboring parish, the one I met a couple of times while fishing by the lake, appears. It's good that things are moving forward with order, as usual.

Thank you, Tamara, I also downloaded both files. In May it’s really quiet here, but in June this deacon is from a neighboring parish - I wonder what church he will be assigned to. Do you have any details about him?
G
Gregory Mitchell
I grabbed both PDFs this morning before my run. Nothing from our side in May, but that June deacon ordination from the next parish jumped out — the same young guy my wife and I waved to a couple times on the bike path last summer. Wonder where they’ll send him.

Yes, Tamar, the May list is indeed empty in our diocese. And I heard about that guy from the neighboring parish; he used to help in the kitchen at the youth camp, cooked pilaf with us. It's interesting where they will assign him.

I see Fr. John from our deanery is listed for retirement in the May batch—didn’t expect that so soon. Good that Fr. Alessandro is still on it though; keeps everything running smooth. Anyone know who’s taking over his parish?

Gabriela Popescu
Yeah, I saw it on the June list too. That smiling boy at the lake, looks serious and hardworking. I hope to see him serving in our area soon.

I'm glad the June list resonated with you. What is the name of the deacon who was ordained? My husband and I also sometimes ride bicycles along our paths, and maybe we saw him. It’s good when parishes are so lively.

I'm glad that the June list was interesting. What is the name of that deacon? My son and I also often ride bicycles along the same paths by the river, and maybe we’ve crossed paths. It’s good to have such familiar faces in the ministry.

Yeah, I saw Fr. John’s retirement too—surprised me as well, he always seemed pretty active. Fr. Alessandro does keep the lists coming on time, that’s for sure. Haven’t heard anything yet about who’s stepping in at his parish, anyone from the youth group side know?

Любовь Андреева
Thank you, Stepan, for sharing. It’s interesting that a guy from a neighboring parish was on the June list - I also saw him a couple of times on our paths when I was riding a bike with my grandson. Do you remember which church he serves in now?
L
Luke Campbell
Yeah, Fr. John's name jumped out at me too in the May list. He's only a couple years older than me, so it makes you think about your own plans. I haven't heard a word yet about his replacement—our deanery's been pretty quiet on that.

Роман Зайцев
Glad you noticed the June list too. The deacon's name is Father Andrey, he was installed in the Trinity Church. What are your favorite paths for cycling? The dog and I often ride along forest paths near the river.

Margaret Adams
Fr. John’s retirement caught me off guard too—he was still leading that Bible study I went to last fall. I haven’t heard any names for his parish either, but I’ll ask around at the next fellowship supper and let you know if anything turns up.

Fr. John’s retirement surprised me as well — I saw him at the diocesan council meeting in April and he seemed as energetic as ever. I’ll keep an ear out too; our parish has a deacon who sometimes fills in for him, so maybe he’ll know something by the next supper. Let me know what you hear.

Love, I am glad the list is useful. The boy you are writing about is now at the church of Saint Prince Vladimir in the suburbs, if I correctly remembered. And how is his grandson already riding a bike without training wheels?
С
Светлана Кузнецова
I'm glad you also liked the June list. The deacon's name is Father Andrey, he is from that parish by the river. Maybe we actually met somewhere on the path, what age is your son?
Т
Тамара Семёнова
Yes, the June list is really interesting. Father Andrey from that parish by the river - I remember we went there a couple of times for the patronal feast. And my son is already 19, in his second year studying in Minsk, almost an adult. How old is yours?
Ф
Фёдор Белов
Yes, the June list really turned out to be lively. Father Andrei is by the river - I remember how my mother and I went there for the throne the year before last, their pies were always good. And my grandson will turn 12 next month and goes to school in Kazan.
М
Марина Комарова
Yes, Father Andrey by the river - their cabbage pies are always a success. What school does your grandson study in Kazan? Mine will also go to fifth grade next year and is already asking for history books.
П
Пётр Попов
Marina, that’s right, Father Andrey’s pies always come out with a crispy crust, I tried it with him while fishing. And my grandson is in the 7th gymnasium in Kazan, he has already entered the fourth grade, he doesn’t ask for history yet, he runs more around chess. What school is yours going to?
Г
Георгий Лебедев
Marina, Father Andrey’s pies really always have a good crust, I also tried them a couple of times while fishing. My grandson is in a regular school in Rostov, he has entered the third grade, he doesn’t ask for history yet, he asks for more fishing rods for the weekend. What school is your fifth year going to?
