"Food for Pilgrims" partners are preparing for the patron saint of St. Parascheva in Iași: 40 restaurants and companies involvedtranslated

The partners of the "Food for pilgrims" project of the Fiideajutor.ro platform are preparing for the period of the patron saint of Saint Pious Parascheva from Iași.

This year, 40 restaurants, hotels and food industry companies joined the initiative. On this occasion, the representatives of operators in the field met on Thursday at the Metropolitan Cathedral in the city of Ieși to discuss the main directions of action.

The involvement of companies complements the efforts of the Archdiocese of Iași, which prepares every year, through parishes, monasteries, medical centers and social structures, the necessary conditions for receiving the large number of believers.

The list of partners for this year remains open, with restaurants, hotels, confectioneries, catering companies, manufacturers and distributors of food products joining the initiative so far.

In 2025, through the contribution of partners and donations received through Fiideajutor.ro, the pilgrims benefited from almost 75,000 portions of food and over 5,000 bottles of water. At the same time, the Archdiocese of Iasi offered, during the support actions, over 100,000 portions of food.
