Saint Hilarion Felea, honest in Arad: His confessional struggle strengthens us in the work of faithtranslated

The Holy Priest Martyr Ilarion Felea was honored on Friday in Arad at the historic Cathedral in the city, the place where he served for two decades.

The demonstrations took place as part of "PATRIMONIUM - Tradition, Community, Values. Days of Aradian theology and culture", organized between September 16-19 for the first time.

The honoring of Saint Hilarion Felea began on the eve of the feast with a vigil service.

The program continued the next day with the Akathist and Holy Liturgy officiated by Archbishop Timotei of Arad. Bishops Lucian of Caransebeș, Sophronie of Oradea, Nicodim of Severin and Strehaia, Ieronim of Dacia Felix and Siluan of Hungary served alongside His Eminence.

The Confession of Saint Hilarion Felea  Referring to Saint Hilarion Felea, His Holiness Father Sophronie highlighted that "his confessional struggle, through the mercy of our Savior Jesus Christ, came to light, strengthening us also in the work of faith".

At the same time, the hierarch showed that the testimony of the saint constitutes, for the current generation, a call to "peace, love and the cultivation of responsibility".
