Memory of the first liturgytranslated

September 7, 2026 · 1 min read

On September 6, 2026, on the 14th Sunday after Pentecost, on the day of remembrance of the Hieromartyr Eutyches, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated in the Church of the Icon of the Mother of God “Quick to Hear” in the village of Kuzmolovo, Toksovo deanery.

The service was performed by the rector of the church, Archpriest Alexander Varlamov. This day became special for the parish: exactly eleven years ago, on September 6, 2015, here, in the Kuzmolovsky Church, a regular Divine Liturgy took place for the first time, marking the beginning of the full-fledged church life of the community.

At the end of the Liturgy, Father Alexander addressed the parishioners with a pastoral word. In his sermon, he congratulated all those praying on Sunday, and special words of congratulation were addressed to the communicants who received the Holy Mysteries of Christ. The rector also shared with the community plans for the further development of the parish and spoke about the work currently underway to improve the church, calling everyone to common prayer and help in decorating the house of God.

أحد عشر سنة مرت بسرعة، أتذكر كيف كان المكان في البداية. بارك الله في أبونا الكسندر وفي كل من يساعد في تجميل الكنيسة.
