Registration is open for the V All-Belarusian religious procession “Zhirovichi - Minsk”translated

Registration is open for participation in the V All-Belarusian religious procession “Zhirovichi - Minsk”, which will take place from August 18 to 26, 2026 with the blessing of Metropolitan Benjamin of Minsk and Zaslavsky, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus.

The organizer of the prayer procession is the Synodal Department of the Belarusian Exarchate for the development of pilgrimages and the bringing of shrines.

The procession of the cross will begin after the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Dormition Zhirovichi Monastery and end on August 26, the day of the celebration of the Minsk Icon of the Mother of God, at the Holy Spirit Cathedral in Minsk.

In nine days, participants will cover about 250 kilometers. The route will pass through four dioceses and 21 churches. You can join the procession for the entire period, or on a separate section of the path.

To participate, you must fill out the electronic registration form. The questionnaire is completed separately for each participant, including the child. When registering a minor, you must provide the details and contact phone number of one of the parents.
