Research opportunities through the Fulbright program, presented at the Faculty of Orthodox Theology in Craiovatranslated

With the blessing of His Eminence Father Dr. Irineu, Archbishop of Craiova and Metropolitan of Oltenia, the University of Craiova organized on Monday, September 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., in the Museum Hall of the Faculty of Orthodox Theology, a meeting dedicated to the presentation of the scholarship programs offered by the Fulbright Romania Commission. The event brought together teaching staff, master's and doctoral students interested in the research and academic development opportunities offered within the university partnerships between Romania and the United States of America.

The guests of the meeting were Mrs. Corina Dănăilă, Director of the Fulbright Romania Commission, and Mrs. Mihaela Tinca Udriștioiu, double winner of a Fulbright scholarship and Fulbright Ambassador in Romania.

During the meeting, the main stages of the application process for Fulbright scholarships, the eligibility criteria, the amount and duration of the scholarships, as well as the ways to obtain academic recommendations and the letter of invitation from a university institution in the United States were presented.
