SLIVEN MUNICIPALITY EXPANDS STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN WITH NEW PROJECTS FOR HEALTH, ECONOMY, EDUCATION AND SOCIAL SERVICEStranslated

The Municipality of Sliven is undertaking an update of the Plan for Integrated Development of the Municipality (PIRO) for the period 2021-2027, which will include additional projects and activities with the potential to contribute to the development of the region and the quality of life of the people.

In the building of the Municipality of Sliven, a discussion was held on the proposals for updating the PIRO, which defines the strategic framework and the main priorities for the development of the municipality until 2027. The additions are related to received proposals for the inclusion of new activities and projects in the plan. The proposed additions are mainly aimed at Priority 1 "Improving the quality of life and education" and Priority 2 "Support for sustainable economic development".

The Deputy Mayor for Economic Development Stoyan Markov, heads of municipal departments and experts, municipal councilors, as well as Dr. Penko Penkov, as a representative of the submitter of the additional proposals from the Southeast Regional Innovation Center /YURIC/ "Health" - Sliven, participated in the discussion.
