The "e-Sănătatea Mea" platform, developed by the National Health Insurance House (CNAS), will become accessible from September 1, 2026, promising to bring together the main electronic medical services in the same place.

It will work as a "digital health wallet", providing secure access to the documents and medical history of each insured person, the institution's representatives said at a debate organized on Thursday by the Bucharest Center for Economy & Society (CES Bucharest).

Simplified access to health services Prescriptions, referral tickets and other medical documents will be able to be issued and stored electronically on the platform, being permanently available in the patient's account.

The patient will be able to decide who can consult their medical information and at what level of access, granting permissions to different categories of medical personnel when necessary. The patient will also be able to scan and upload their older medical tests and documents.
