The new church of the Romanians in Boian, Canada, was consecrated: It is a rebirth for the community, says PS Ioan Casiantranslated

The new Romanian church in Boian, Alberta, Canada, was consecrated on the Feast of the Assumption, three years after the old place of worship was destroyed by fire.
The Most Reverend Father Ioan Casian, the Bishop of Canada, described the moment as "a new rebirth for the community in Boian", but also a message for the other Romanian communities in the diaspora.
The events dedicated to the sanctification took place between August 14-16, in which Metropolitans Joseph of Western and Southern Europe and Nicholas of the two Americas participated.
The celebration began on the eve of the holiday with the Vespers and the Prohod of the Mother of God. On the day of the Assumption of the Mother of God, the three hierarchs officiated the consecration service of the new place, followed by the Holy Liturgy.
